Here we are offering a ceramic fiber gasket for a 55 gallon steel drum which prevents gasses from escaping from between 2 pieces of metal or from between metal and masonry/stone material. It can be used for to make a removeable lid for your Rocket Heater.
For example, suppose you acquired a nice piece of soapstone and wanted to make a top for your steel drum on your rocket heater. Create a circular groove in the soapstone with a router and then put the gasket in the groove to seal the interface between the metal and the soapstone.
This gasket is already included in the Dragon Heaters builds which need it. For example, the gaskets required for joining steel drums together with the locking ring in the derrick build are included in the Derrick Build kit.
